‘The Baby-sitters Club’ which is authored by Ann M. Martin is a series of children’s books that were published by Scholastic books. The books were published the years 1986 -2000. Peter Lerangis was also involved in this series as he also wrote 43 books. But the most important 35 books were penned down by Ann Martin only. The story-line involves few middle school students who run a baby-sitter club. The plot is that whenever the parents are out for club nights they hire these babysitters. It involves the diary-entries and accounts of various incidents of the best friends who run this club.

This is an extremely well-written and a moving series of books that includes the emotions of teenagers towards infants and their on-hand experience on babysitting. The first chapter includes an introductory session about the characters and the plot. The second chapter contains the information of Baby-sitting Club and the other members have been brought into the picture. The next chapters comprise the description of the various incidents. Then are the various views and diary entries of members who share their experiences about babysitting through their words. Even a 13 episode television serial has been produced on the same topic. This series even includes super special editions and animated versions have been developed for the same. The other teen stories and pre-teen adjustments are add-ons to the baby-sitting guide. It signifies a strong bond that relates girls with same interests and set an example of the everlasting friendship which remains forever in their hearts.
