Children Party Invitations





You’re invited!

Commonly, the above phrase is what you see in most kid’s birthday party invitation. It is an affirmative statement where the birthday celebrator expects you to come.

Party invitations are important because they serve as notification of the party details such as the following:

* The celebrator.

* The celebrator’s age as well as birth date.

* The date and time of the party.

* The venue of the party.

* The theme of the party (to some this is optional).

These days, traditional party invitations were already gone. There are wide selections of party invitations that you can choose from. There are five types of party invitations which are commonly used in children parties.

1. Birthday themes.

Will you be having a cartoon-character inspired birthday party such as Winnie the Pooh, Barney and Friends or the Little Mermaid? Perhaps you opt to have a different theme this time, like a sports-related birthday theme.

Make sure that you incorporate the party theme in your kid’s invitation. To give it a personal touch, you can decide on inserting your child’s face on Winnie the Pooh’s body. Alternatively, you can include in your party invitation a favorite line from any cartoon character movie.

2. Invitations with your child’s photo.

These days it is common for parents to send out photo invitations. It does not only give the receiver a picture of who the celebrator will be, it also gives the receiver a souvenir that can be posted in his album.

You can choose to recopy photos of your child and then just cut and paste it on a postcard-like invitation. On the other hand, if you have your own personal computer then design an invitation with your child’s photo and print it out.

3. Postcard invitations.

Postcard invitations are easy to make. You and your child can think of different ways to personalize postcard invitations. If you or your child is good in drawing, then you can choose to draw a favorite figure on the invitation. Additionally, party details can be handwritten.

Other ideas will include a postcard invitation pasted with different paper-cut designs of butterflies, flowers, birds, trees and other designs which you can cut.

4. Online invitations (E-vites)

Who says that you cannot send out artistic online invitations?

By letting your imagination run wild, you can. All you need to do is think of unique and artistic ways to make your invitations interesting. For instance, you can send out e-vites with your own personal design. Nowadays, there is numerous party designs software which can help you obtain professional-like invitations.

5. Print-Out Invitations

With the advent of technology, you and your child can play around with your personal computer to attain print-out invitations. You can decide on what specific invitation to print out.

You can mix one or two types of invitations to obtain a unique and artistic invitation for your child’s birthday party. For instance, you can opt to do a photo, printed-out party invitation or a postcard, theme-incorporated party invitations.

Choose an appropriate invitation paper and color that will perfectly match the type of invitation you have chosen. Normally, the type and color of paper to be used adds fascination to any children’s party invitation.

All you need to do is let your creativity run wild.
