Clay Aiken will be a dad; The mother is around 50 y/o
Is this real? Would a 50+ y/o woman really risk her health and the health of the fetus by becoming pregnant at such a late age? Keep in mind that she’ll be about 70 when the child graduates high school. That means that when the kid is raising his/her own family, the mom will be about 80 — an age of illness. Is it fair to subject the child to this added responsibility of caring for children and a parent (it’s called “the sandwich generation”). It doesn’t sound right to me.
And frankly, it’s a bit selfish. I’m sure that there are many 5-10 y/o’s that need adopting.
I don’t know much more about this but I think that he was just a sperm donor (as a favor to the woman) with no legal parental obligations. Being friends, of course, will mean that there will still be a connection, but not as a real father.

This is ABC’s World News Now (WNN) and they’re famous for being funny and irreverent. And a few times, they have crossed the line (one anchor mistakenly giggled talking about the war). BUt overall, it is the best damn newscast in the Universe! There are lots of videos here on YouTube (search WNN). Anderson Cooper was a blast when he was an anchor. My favorite male anchors were Cooper, David Muir, Ron Corning and Ryan Owens. My favorite episode was their show during the NYC blackout.

I knew Paulus and he wouldn’t have written that. I won’t go too much more into that but I’m surprised that anyone would buy into those posts being real when there is NO collaboration on any other site. The male new reporter was very unprofessional. Report the fucking story and move on. If Clay is gay or not and we now know that he is since he came out; it shouldn’t matter he’s having a baby, in a way that is quite common these days, esp since the woman is older. Report the story and stop making an ass of yourself. I was offended to watch him and I’m glad the other lady told him to move on.
gio957, this was part of my graduate research and it doesn’t feel any different than having a straight dad — especially if you grew up with it from birth, as Clay’s child is. Studies have shown no negative impact and several positive ones, i.e. for obvious reasons, these children are more accepting of other races, religions, etc.

ketren2, you’re so gullible. The reason that “interview” isn’t circulated is because it’s not credible. It’s a biased site and anyone can make up a fake interview. In the “interview,” the supposed “Paulus” said that he’d be willing to have a Press Conference anytime. So where is it? He could’ve called reporters at any time or even post a YouTube video. None exist.
You’d rather claim some conspiracy to suppress info than to admit that your “evidence” is flimsy and likely fake. Sad.
