Comparison Of Teens

The comparison of teens with the other kids of the same age can be a little dejecting for their temperaments. Not all the teens would take the comparison in a positive sense. Some might take it as plain criticism whiles the others as a point of learning. Thus, to make the child feel a little comfortable at the same time make him learns a lot of values. The best would be to make the child know a lot about the other teens at the same talk about the qualities that he or she would bear. The comparison between the teens can make the teen feel jealous and the feeling of jealousy can actually make the child feel hate himself for the qualities.

The solutions:

While making any decisions of the teens and especially while comparing the teens the parents or the family should make sure that the comparison is healthy and the teen does not have any bitter feelings about the same. Thus making the thoughts clear and understood to the teens is necessary. While talking to the teens one must also point out to the qualities of the teens at the same time pointing out the negative points so that the children do not feel left out in the process. Psychologists and the experts feel the same about the comparison of the teens. The teens would want to be on the same level.

Teenage is an age where the kids lose out on the reasoning power. Hence this is when the teens would want the most attention. Parents need to be reasonable with the teens and understand their requirements and the attention. Talking to the teens and making them understand the pros and cons of every incident and situation and at the same time, the teen’s comparison must be leveled up. The teens have the tendency of misunderstanding the thoughts of others due to the age that they are in. They can neither be considered in the child hood or in the adult hood. Hence, there is a problem for the teens to understand the comparisons.
