Baby sitting widely accepted practice in the western society where a hired hand mostly teen aged girl are girls take care of a baby in the absence of their parents. With the course of time baby sitting has become a popular part time job among the teenagers and a good way to earn their pocket expenses. Considering the fast paced life in the present times it is an obvious fact that parents are depending more and more on the baby sitters for the care of their children. However finding the right and a reliable baby sitter is also a big task. For this reason there has been a considerable shrinkage in this field as many reports have been coming about the carelessness of the baby sitters while at work.

Group baby sitting in group refers to group session where more than one baby is taken care of by a single person or more. The concept has evolved recently as many parents don’t find it secure to leave their baby at the hands of a baby sitter alone at home. Thus in group baby sitting sessions the parents are relieved from that worry. It appears to be a safer option to the parents. However there are some negative aspects associated to these alternatives as well. Hence it is advised to the parents to analyze both the sides of group baby sitting.
Advantages and disadvantages:
One of the basic advantages of Group baby sitting is that since it is conducted in groups there is no worries about the safety issues of the baby. However, there are some drawback to group baby sitting as well. As the group baby sittings involves taking care of more than one baby at a time, there are possible chances that a child may not get the proper attention and care which he or she could have got from an individual baby sitter. However this must not be the case if there are more than one baby sitter conducting a group baby sitting session.
