The teenagers have a lot that needs to be learnt and known at the growing age. Ethically, morally and there are many more things related to the physical being of a person that has to be made understood to the child during the teenage. Before the teen reaches puberty he or she must be acquainted to the sex concept and the cons of the same so that they do not go the wrong way in such cases. Sex education works on for the teens in schools but the best time is when the parents make the teens understand the concept of getting close physically to someone. If this is taught at a young age there is less chances that the child would get indulged in any kind of restrictive behavior. The information must be given to the teen at this young phase so the teen himself knows that such sexual behavior can mean harm for him at that age.
The parents talk:
The peer group has the most amount of effect on the teen. If there are some sex addicts in the group then the teen can get pulled away into this. The attraction towards the opposite sex is immense at this age. Hence, the parents must make the child acquainted with the terms of sex. How one must get into safe sex should also be taught to the teen considering that at this young age, there are chances that the child might reciprocate the feelings and indulge him into this act. Giving him the information about the sexually transmitted diseases and the awareness of the contact between the humans must be spoken about by the parents. There may be some amount of awkwardness but the end result is highly appreciated. Not only do the teens understand the concept at the same time feel matured and connected to the parents. The teen and the parent relationship must be highly recommended in such situation. If the teen is taught the right things related to the concept of sex, there are fewer chances that the teen would tread the wrong way or be extra curious about the same.
