Role Models For The Teens

The teens go through a lot of changes during this age. The teen wants to believe the dreams that they see for them selves and their career interests and make their mark in the same. The role models play a very significant role in their life. This is because they follow the ideals and the norms that are set by these models and thus want to adapt a lifestyle to something similar. May they be international stars or the local stars, the teens want to copy the style and make them the mentor so as to get the kind of feeling like being a star. But there are a lot of pros and cons during the same process. Polls taken have always proved to be effective saying that the most number of teens over the world have opted in for the mentors and idols as they would want to follow the idols and their ideals.
The type of models:
For most of the people the care should be taken that the teens must be allowed to follow the right kind of idols. The best role models that the parents or the teachers would prefer on would be the historic or the leaders of the countries. But the teens would want their role models to be the superstars or the movie stars. Thus we see that the teen’s point of view would want to be different than that of the parents or the teachers. The teens would want to feel that the impact of the movie stars or the superstars would be more than any of the other personalities. While the same way the parents would want to follow the much recognized leaders about whom the teens would learn something. Through the parents point of view it may not be wrong but for the teenagers it isn’t right. Therefore choosing the right role models for the teens considering the likes and the dislikes of the teens would be the appropriate thing. Thus, the role model can actually direct the teen the way he wants to tread and according to the liking of the teen.
