The bond between the children and their parents dampens during the teenage. This is because there is certain difference between the thoughts of the child and his parents. The parents still consider the child to be young and unable to make his decisions, while the teen wants to be compared to the elder one’s at home. There is immense pressure form the peer group too. The child as well as the parents hence is caught up in situations which prove to be unhealthy for the family itself. Activities that keep the family as one should be taken into consideration.

The bond between the teens and the parents can be strengthened only if there are activities which can help getting the family closer. This can be done in a number of ways such as planning out games or get together wherein the parents and the teens spend time to get closer to each other. Teenage brings about a lot of worries for the parents. The activities are the only source which can bring about the changes in the relations in the family. To know your child better one needs to talk it out with the teen. During this age a lot of times the children face a lot of pressure and are the target of a lot of emotional turbulence. In such cases the teens need a support and a family to understand the situation and guide them. This is the age category wherein the children do not consider them in the young age and want to be leveled with the older ones. Thus the bond between the parents and the teens can be leveled up only if there are constant talks and mutual understanding among the children. The school teachers also take the initiative of getting the parents and the teens closer by making them realize the importance of family and the support that the family of a teen can provide. Hence, having close talks in the family is the ultimate as well as the bets option that one can opt for.
