Water games for kids at home.
1. Freeze water game.
This game is not meant for pools or for the beach. It is better than in your home and using your water sprinkler.
What you need to do is have the children move, dance or skip around the area where the sprinkler is. Then tell them that when the sprinkler is turned off, they will have to freeze in whatever position that they are in. They can only move after the sprinkler is turned off.
Children will really have a lot of fun holding on to ridiculous positions and seeing their friends’ comical poses.
2. Limbo; water game version.
If you have a grassy area in the surrounding area of your house, tell the kids to position themselves there. Then bring out the hose.
Just like the traditional limbo dance, kids need to go under to get to the other side. In this case, the stick or pole is replaced with the water.
At each level, the water will get lower and lower. Those who will not be able to get across get to be soaked with water in the process.
3. Water game brigade.
You need to divide the children into team. Each team will have a bucketful of water in the start of their line. A few distance from the children will be an empty bucket.
The idea behind this game is to have the children transfer the water from the full to the empty bucket. They can use whatever method that they can think of in order to carry the water to the other side.
Spoons, cups or sponge are the most common tools that are used to transfer the water in this water game for kids. The one who gets to fill much water into the other bucket in the shortest time is the winner.

Those who cannot catch it will be out of the game. Then person will also be considered out when the water balloon explodes in his or her hands.
