25 Responsesto “Wiccan Family”

  1. Bigrappa24 says:

    So true.

  2. FireChildSlytherin5 says:

Wow. half my life I lived where children “shouldn’t” be living at. My uncle doesn’t have running water etc and he raised his 5 kids there. And they turned out right. But then again they are a Christian family…

Anyway, the only thing I see wrong is the back/front yard is messy. Religion is NOT the esshoe (sp?). That part is so fucked up. >.>

  3. Socinus says:

Yeah, people are poor so the best way to deal with that is to take the kids away.

  4. Lanthiriel says:

Anyone have an update about this family? What that idiot asked that little boy was totally out of line. Unreal.

  5. cagsforme says:

I’d be glad to,I’m not to far from where they live,I would need others to join me,I’m not very handy, have no idea how to fix that stove.

  6. cagsforme says:

They may be to poor to get repairs done and if people want to help the kids they should help them fix their home up. They certainly do enough to help out the bums that don’t even try to care for their kids.

  7. cagsforme says:

I’m from WV, and I agree their place needs a lot of work BUT there are hundreds of homes like this and worse up in the hollows and CS does not take their kids away.Known drug addicts and convicted felons and they get to keep their kids.

  8. RiverhawktheRouge says:

WTF?!?!? They can’t just question them about their religion. That has NOTHING to do with the condition of their house!!!!

  9. serpentine96 says:

I can obviously see why they need a better home with all those problems but comparing wicca or satanism to plain insanity is down right wrong and who ever has asked such questions is no better than scum.

  10. Zaglath1 says:

The world needs more Christians like you. What our two religeons have, is not a problem with our beliefs, so much as it is a failure to communicate. Really, we have similar rules (ours are just more….. compact), similar dates for our holidays, we have so much in common, but nobody is willing to just sit down and talk. We do have our differences, but overall, we’re pretty similar.

  11. ecloveanimals says:

they need to clean up and an out house. and good clean water but agree the social worker need to get fire immediately.

  12. sadievonstrudel says:

I can understand why the living conditions might be questionable, but to discriminate based on religion is, in my eyes, intolerable under all circumstances, whoever asked the son those questions should be removed immediately.

  13. welshowl79 says:

fair enough the garden needs a tidy i’d offer a hand to do that except im 3’000 miles away in the uk and sure they could use a stove but as wiccans were taught to take only what is required from the earth no more and no less….a lesson the modern world has forgotten about..good on them and i wish them all the luck and blessing they may need.

  14. SalemVaykioLavaunch says:

Aww i wish i had a southern wicca family. thats rare. that wiccan little boy is so cute.
As long as the kids are healty I dont see a problem. they do need need help thow with there house

  15. westleysadler says:

I’m a Christian and I believe in a supreme God who said, “Have no other gods before me” but He also said all humans have freewill to choose their own path and he said he loves ALL people equally. He also expects me to treat everyone with respect even if I don’t agree with their religion. I’ll never gain their friendship if I act like I’m better. Jesus walked among various people daily and although he didn’t agree with some he loved them all regardless of their lifestyles.

  16. FranceGamble says:

They don’t need the electricity, but maybe some proper wood burning stove and a nice clean yard will stall the government a little longer in trying to pursecute them. Hope they win the settlement. They need the money.

  17. FranceGamble says:

My family is pagan, and even though I get a lot from my co-workers, no one has ever tried to take my children. I am sure that if I needed the help, though, my group (coven) would stand beside me and help fix what needed to be done. For those of you in that area (for I’m on the west coast) someone should help them fix their home. We come from all different jobs and walks of life. I’m sure someone over there has a few dollars to spare and a weekend to help fix that house.

  18. FranceGamble says:

I think us pagans and wiccans should come together and help our poorer friends like this. They obviously need some money to or help to fix their house to meet state standards. It’s not right for the state to go after their religion, but they might not have found them if they had a better looking place to live.

  19. lupinswitch99 says:

I feel bad for them, its not right that people are judging them just because there wiccan. I’m wiccan, and i know that it is not right that they should be treated like this. I wish them many goddess belssings and bright light with what they do, and i hope everything goes there way.

  20. Glanecia says:

They’re poor. I’m betting they’re doing the very best they can — I’m betting they love their children. It was WRONG for the social workers (whoever they were) to assume what they did about Wicca. Hopefully they’ll figure that out — geeze.

  21. LadyDeath79 says:

For I wish you the best of luck in the lawsuit.
For I’m from WV also I live in Talyor County, I do believe they should leave us Wiccan’s alone for if we wish to do are religion then we should. We don’t get on them about there religion so why should they.
    Blessed Be

  22. welwisher says:

Yeah! ^^ I can agree that they have very poor living areas, but shouldn’t the government give them a better home in the country, then? It seems like that family doesn’t have enough money to get a better home.
The ‘racism’ (I guess) against wicca is just plain cruel and wrong.

  23. raqssharkidancer says:

“Satanic Rituals”…Wiccans don’t even believe in Satan. That’s like a hindy saying to a Christian, “Did you do something bad because you veared off the path of Vishnu and Shiva came and slayed his wrath?”

  24. chibikasumi108 says:

Amish Communities have the same abscence of modern technology. I see nothing wrong with that as long as the childrens’ needs are seen to properly.

  25. steev75 says:

its sad that they are being harrassed due to their religion but i can agree about the hosue this day and age everyone should have heating and running water and proper toilet facilities….
